He explains the twists and turns in life can either be the devil trying to crush us, or God trying to strengthen us. He uses a metaphor from the Bible about threshing wheat to describe what this can look like in action in our life. The enemy would like to crush us and make us useless. In contrast, God would like to blow away the junk in our lives, and keep the good parts. So when we are navigating difficult times in life remember that God has the ability to defeat Satan, so if we are feeling too weary to go on, let Jesus carry us through.
